CHARLOTTE – West Meck students “pinked out” the school’s stadium Oct. 8 for the football game against E.E. Waddell High School. The effort was to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research.

Also at the game, the school honored West Meck teachers and staff who have fought cancer or are currently fighting it.

The school raised about $200 that night, and the effort continues – the school’s Future Business Leaders of America group is also selling bows for the cure. All money will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
