‘Haunted Palace’ offering Halloween twist

CORNELIUS –The Palace in Kenton Place is transforming into “The Haunted Palace” every weekend through Oct. 31. Three theaters – more than 7,000 square feet of space – will be “filled with bone-chilling frights and unforeseen horrors.”

Tickets cost $10. Buy them at the box office, which opens 30 minutes before each Halloween night event. Each event lasts from 7 p.m. to midnight, except the final week, when The Palace opens at 6 p.m. Remaining weekend hauntings take place Friday through Sunday, Oct. 8 to 10; Oct. 14 to 17; Oct. 21 to 24 and Tuesday through Sunday, October 26 to 31.

“We wanted to build an original idea and create an actual haunted house attraction at The Palace since it’s the perfect venue and location,” Wrye Youngblood, attraction coordinator, said in a news release.
