Quality of Life study reviewed at community workshop

CHARLOTTE – This November, the Charlotte’s Community University program is offering a free workshop focused on the 2010 Charlotte Neighborhood Quality of Life Study.

The study is conducted every two years to evaluate social, physical, economic and crime conditions in Charlotte’s neighborhoods.

The workshop for the Mountain Island area takes place Nov. 18 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Johnson C. Smith University’s Biddle Hall, 100 Beatties Ford Road.

The free workshop is open to all Charlotte residents interested in understanding the city’s Quality of Life Study data and how that data is used.
