Bojangles’ raises $62,000 for Toys For Tots

CHARLOTTE – During the past two weeks Bojangles’, in partnership with WBTV-TV in Charlotte, has raised $62,293 for the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.

The U.S. Marine Corps Reserves Toys for Tots Program collects new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year and distributes them as Christmas gifts to needy children in communities across the country.

This holiday season marks the third year in which Bojangles’ and WBTV-TV have partnered to support Toys for Tots. To make a donation, Bojangles’ customers purchased paper trains to display in the restaurants.

“We would like to take this opportunity to say ‘thank you’ to all of our employees and customers who have made it possible for many less fortunate children to experience the joys of Christmas, ” Bojangles’ President and CEO Randy Kibler, said in a news release.
