Homeland security on agenda at Republican women’s meeting

HUNTERSVILLE – Hal Weatherman, Rep. Sue Myrick’s chief of staff, will discuss homeland security and terrorism during next month’s North Mecklenburg Republican Women meeting.

Weatherman will deliver the keynote address during the Dec. 14 meeting at the NorthStone County Club, 15801 NorthStone Drive. This will be an encore presentation of his “Connect the Dots” program he presented last year.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased by emailing nomeckrw@gmail.com. Registration begins at 6 p.m. and a buffet dinner will begin at 6:45 p.m. The event is open to men and women.

Monthly dinner meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month and are open to the public.  All Republican women are eligible for NMRW active membership; Republican men are invited to join as associate members.  The club is an affiliate of the North Carolina Federation of Republican Women.
