How restaurants fared in health inspections for December 17

The Mecklenburg County and Iredell County health departments conducted inspections of the following restaurants from Dec. 1 to Dec. 15:

Violations include: Employee beverage stored on shelving above hot holding unit; plastic food containers, metal pans and cups all stored as clean with food debris; Chicken breast not cooked to correct temperature; hot water not at correct temperature; Insect presence near built in ice cream freezer.

10224 Perimeter Pkwy.
Violations include: open employee drinks above coffee station; ground beef stored over pork in the walk-in cooler and hamburgers stored over fish in the prep cooler drawers; build up on the soda gun at the bar and the ice machine needs to be wiped out.

Stockyard Restaurant, 94.5
4925 Rozzelles Ferry Road
Violations include: Toxic chemicals (metal polish and disinfectant) were stored above utensil storage rack; Hot water not at correct temperature; debris in utensil container; corroded shelves in walk-in cooler.

8315 Northlake Commons Blvd.
Violations include: Several bowls, cups, lids and eating utensils with food debris stored as clean; dirty glassware in bar area; dishwasher not sanitizing.
