Mount Holly Police seeks 911 operator

The Mount Holly Police Department is seeking resumes for a police telecommunicator position.

The job entails handling incoming emergency calls, maintaining contact with police and other emergency response units and responding to crisis situations with tact, decisiveness and good judgment.

The position requires working nights on a 12-hour shift and rotating weekends.

Anyone interested must have a high school degree and have successfully completed a State Bureau of Investigation or Department of Criminal Information course or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
