Home Depot to award service member with home assistance

Home Depot, in partnership with Operation Homefront of North Carolina, will award the families of two Charlotte deployed or injured service members with a home makeover.
Home Depot will spent up to $5,000 to make home or appliance repairs, paint and landscaping to spruce up the service member’s home.
Families must be nominated by someone familiar with the applicant’s military status and home situation in order to qualify.
“We care greatly for our men and women in uniform, especially those that are struggling with home needs while deployed or injured,” Kevin Donaldson, Home Depot’s district manager, said.
Those interested in nominating a family for the project can fill out an application on www.operationhomefront.net/nc.
