First Presbyterian Church holds Easter egg hunt

MOUNT HOLLY – First Presbyterian Church of Mount Holly, 133 S. Main St., invites local children to a free Easter celebration.

On April 1, toddlers to fifth-graders may participate in an Easter egg hunt. All ages are also invited to participate in games, eat dinner and make Easter themed arts and crafts. For more information, call the church at 704-827-0521.

Starting in May, the church plans to hold a series of parenting programs. Sessions include:

• So Now You’re a Parent: Parenting the Toddler and Young Child, May 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. Presented by John Simpson, an adolescent psychologist with the Presbyterian Samaritan Center.

• Middle School Bullying: Targets, Bullies, and Bystanders and What Parents Can Do, May 23 from 6 to 9 p.m. Presented by Mary Gail Frawley, Presbyterian Samaritan Center co-director and clinical psychologist.

• The Teenage Brain: No, NOT an Oxymoron, May 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. Presented by Mary Gail Frawley and John Simpson.

All programs are open to the public.
